Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and fast paced Sales & Marketing team, based in Swindon. We are looking for an experienced marketing professional with energy, ambition and a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ for our clients.

The role is content driven and centres around lead generation and inbound marketing. Increasing traffic and conversions through our website, as well as maintaining and developing our presence and reputation within our industry.

The ideal candidate will have a marketing degree and 2-3 years’ experience in both digital and traditional marketing within a B2B environment. You must have excellent copywriting skills, the ability to create and execute a marketing plan and a proven ability to work autonomously. You should have a strong digital marketing background including an understanding of email marketing, SEO, WordPress CMS, Google Adwords & Analytics, and be confident in all social media channels. The added experience of working with and managing a marketing automation software, more specifically ‘Hubspot’, would be a bonus.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Management of the Corporate Events website – writing new content, adding and optimising pages and creating calls to actions to maintain a continual flow of incoming enquiries
  • Working with SEO & PPC agencies to maintain and develop our online digital strategy
  • Analysing and reporting on website traffic through Google Analytics and HubSpot’s Analytics Tool
  • Writing regular articles based on the industry for the Corporate Events blog, press release and produce case-studies of recent events
  • Management of the ‘HubSpot’ platform to nurture and communicate with contacts across email and online
  • Writing monthly newsletters both for external use and for Internal Communications
  • Becoming the custodian of the Corporate Events social channels, managing reach, writing copy and delivering campaigns
  • Finding new and innovative ways of promoting Corporate Events – through industry events, direct and email marketing campaigns, social and PR

The successful candidate will:

  • Be creative

  • Be a confident communicator with a passion for marketing and communications
  • Have proven experience managing an end to end, multi-channel marketing strategy

We are currently recruiting for a Technician (AV) to join our Warehouse team based at our Swindon HQ. The diverse role will work closely with the wider technical, event and project management teams and have a real impact on the successful preparation of the events that Corporate Events deliver on a day to day basis.

What you would be doing:

  • Preparation of equipment prior to despatch
  • Delivery and collection of equipment
  • Checking of equipment on return from rental – quickly and effectively
  • Assisting with Management of rental stock
  • Reporting missing items, late returns and damages
  • Identifying equipment shortages and reporting to the Warehouse Manager
  • Loading and Unloading of vehicles
  • Simple maintenance and servicing of company equipment
  • Covering quick turnarounds – evenings and weekends as and when required
  • Working with Warehouse Manager to ensure all kit quantities are kept up to date, and new equipment is correctly logged on to the system

What we need from you:

Motion Graphics Designer

We are currently looking for a motion graphic designer to join our creative team. The successful candidate will have bags of energy and ideas, and be producing highly creative animations in-house at our Wiltshire based studio.

The candidate will be working as part of a creative design team, taking direction from the Senior Designer to create both opening and closing animations, stings, and a variety of other on-screen graphics for a wide variety of corporate clients. Experience working with corporate and commercial clients would be beneficial along with a good basic understanding of how to work effectively with brand guidelines.

When given storyboards which have a clear visual style, the candidate will be expected to bring them to life through the use of 2D and 3D animation. On occasions, design ideas created individually and translated into animation will be required. This is where the candidate’s true creative flair can be shown. The candidate needs to be comfortable working both individually and as part of a team and be able to take direction and input from the Creative Director throughout different projects. Clear communication skills are key to this role as there will be the need to liaise with Event Managers as well as the Creative Director and Studio Production Manager.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Educated to degree level in graphic design
  • Has a strong sense of typography and layout
  • A creative thinker
  • A great communicator

We are looking for someone who has:

  • The ability to show a strong demonstration of their abilities
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience working within a design studio
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Final Cut or other editing software would be advantageous
  • Understanding of Cinema 4D or an alternative 3D application
  • Experience with live-action camera work and an on-going interest in this area will be of benefit as we are looking to develop this area of the business
