Solution
Corporate Events worked closely with the client to understand the brand and ensure that every element of the brief was designed and created to their standards. As technology leaders, it was key that this was used to enhance the event where possible meaning, every element of the event used technology in an innovative way. An intuitive app allowed customers to keep updated on schedules, launch surveys, download speaker biography’s and ask questions, all from their phones or tablets. RFID technology was used to help customers interact with the event’s 11 sponsors who included: Intel, Microsoft and NetMotion. Each delegate had a unique code on their badge and every sponsor had an individual pod that customers could scan their badge against, giving them instant access to case studies and the ability to give instant feedback. Through this sponsors were also able to track their interactions and the success of their content along with their ROI.

The focal point to the event was the set and stage where the presentations from Panasonic and various customer case studies were to take place. The screen and 18 panelled columns formed canvasses for bespoke projection mapping sequences. The flexibility of the set meant that each speaker had their own unique projection designed to reflect their content. The team were then able to transform the set quickly and efficiently ready for the evening’s entertainment. The in-house creative team at Corporate Events, working closely with the client, designed the look and feel of all aspects of the event’s identity including the App, registration website, delegate badges, set, staging and digital content to ensure that every area met the standards of the client, was in keeping with the brief and ensured the sponsors had the exposure they required.
Outcome
The Corporate Events Team designed and coordinated the commissioning of a series of display boxes that sat amongst LED cubed towers showing the sponsors logos and several Toughbook branded cubes hung from the ceiling, creating a bespoke product demo area mirroring the event’s ID. The innovation forum was rounded off with an evening of networking, socialising and entertainment. The magician was extremely well received, utilising the client’s product; the Tough pad, keeping the entertainment on
