The Virtual Event Studio Expands
We successfully launched our Virtual Event Studio back in March 2020, providing a fully customisable virtual event studio and in-house design team, which would provide clients with a flexible and engaging alternative to live events, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Due to demand, we’re expanding the core Virtual Studio and launching a variety of in-house covid-secure spaces including a ‘Green Screen Studio’, allowing clients to customise their background images and content and the ‘Desktop Streaming Studio’, where vision mixing, and delivery of both live and pre-recorded content takes place across multiple events at any one time, with remote speakers and guests.
The Virtual Studio also features breakout rooms, rehearsal studios and onsite facilities such as kitchen, rest rooms and free onsite parking for clients.
Our Managing Director, Andy Ashley said, “Virtual events, and hybrid events, which are a mixture of both live and virtual elements, are the way forward right now. But we believe this will become the norm for us alongside live events, when they return. Expanding our in-house facilities drives value for our clients enabling us to host the many different elements within a virtual or hybrid event, with each space providing scalable and customisable options.”
Pre-Covid, Corporate Events provided event production and live events experiences, as well as creative design, spanning almost 25 years. The Virtual Studio at Corporate Events offers a range of event technology including LED walls, green screens, plasma and projection screens, as well as a variety of staging, branding, lighting, sound and furniture options.
Since launching in March, The Virtual Studio has hosted a variety of conferences and award ceremonies, as well as more relaxed presentations such as opening event animations and video, company updates, talking heads, Q&A and panel sessions. The aim of the expansion is to provide clients with more opportunities to drive engagement and reach a bigger audience
Autumn Townsend, Graphic Designer said, “We’ve seen an increase in the amount of content required across PowerPoint, Keynote and animation, because when switching to a virtual event your content is more important than ever. You’re competing with the day-to-day distractions of working from home or in a remote location and that’s why we’re working really closely with our clients to drive engagement and results through their content which has been really successful so far.”
On 13th August, the Prime Minister confirmed the relaxation of lockdown restrictions in England, paving the way for business and sport pilot events to resume, which had previously been postponed on 1st August. Pilots will take place at conference venues ahead of the expected resumption of business events from 1 October at the earliest.
