Overview

The World Nuclear Symposium is an annual conference and exhibition that brings together CEOs, VPs, Managers and Technical Experts from the world’s leading nuclear companies of over 37 countries to discuss the future of the nuclear energy. It’s a premium industry event to which journalist are invited.

Our brief was to achieve an innovative staging design incorporating the client’s house identity, using their logo to create interesting shapes, dimensions and colours effects. The quality of image, sound and light was a priority, to ensure the audience would have the most optimum experience.

The conference took place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in September 2023 and welcomed over 600 people.

Solution

Keeping in mind that this was a high-profile event, we made sure to put forward a smart and sleek audio video production and stage design.

We built an impressive 12m x 3m LED wall flanked with set panels wrapped in the WNS imagery and logo. The set spanned the width of the room and immersed the audience in the brand and event.

Using the event’s identity, we played with the shapes of the set panels so they would be angled and staggered like the logo. We also created depth by setting them up in front of a black canvass and putting LED battens in the event’s colours behind each panel.

The bespoke layered stage and smart furniture were the last final touch to a premium look.

In addition to a clean and impactful set, we also offered our stage management services to ensure a smooth running of presentation and good support of the speakers.

Outcome

Our client said “Corporate Events were great to work with, they efficiently set up their impressive stage design before the Symposium began. The onsite team communicated effectively and were flexible to our needs throughout the process.”
