Overview

The SHE Awards took place at the impressive VOX Venue, Birmingham, and encompassed the long-established British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Awards that promotes the importance of innovation and underlines the highest standards of excellence within occupational safety and health. The 2022 awards brought back together face-to-face audiences from the health and safety and fire sector for an evening of celebration and recognition, following the Coronavirus pandemic.

Solution

A dedicated project manager supported our client through the planning phases which included creation of an animated sting, awards deck, and graphic design for print.

The Vox Venue is cutting-edge, boasting unrivalled connectivity and super-powered spaces. These enabled us to combine our event production technology to enhance the whole experience for guests through set-build, a simple star-cloth backdrop, a central feature utilising smart lighting, and LED intelligent lighting to create atmosphere across the evening.

The awards were hosted by actor, comedian and writer, Hugh Dennis. Best known for Outnumbered, Not Going Out, Mock the Week and Radio 4’s award winning comedy The Now Show, Hugh entertained guests throughout the evening.

Post-awards entertainment included interactive arcade gaming, and a band for that total after-party feel.

Outcome

Our client said, “We have worked with Corporate Events for several years, and they do a fantastic job of not only project management, but delivery of top class, well organised events. The Team is friendly and supportive and takes the stress out of running a major event and the feedback from our clients is always how professional the event is run and how great it looks, and that is down in large part to the vital role Corporate Events play in this process.”
