Overview

The Music Week Awards is one of the most prestigious events in the music industry calendar, recognising standout achievements across labels, publishers and creative teams. For 2025, the brief was to build on the previous year’s highly successful stage and creative design, which had been very well received but came in over budget. The challenge was clear: evolve the look and feel, maintain the premium standard expected of the event, and deliver it within a tighter financial framework.

Solution

CE approached the brief with a focus on smart, design-led thinking. The main room centred around a large LED wall supported by totems, forming the foundation of a refreshed visual identity. We produced an opening sting to start the evening with impact and created a fully integrated awards deck designed to work across the entire set, ensuring every graphic and transition flowed between the LED wall and totems. Our studio designed all on-screen content, so the show felt cohesive and consistent throughout. Careful technical choices, including improved LED quality and efficient system design, allowed us to enhance the overall look without increasing spend. CE also delivered full pre-event management, on-site production, technical operation and crew management to ensure the event ran smoothly from start to finish.

Outcome

The result was a polished, seamless and highly professional show that met the creative ambition of the brief while staying on budget. Client feedback was overwhelmingly positive, praising CE’s creativity, communication and attention to detail. Comments included: “Everything looked super professional,” “One of my favourite sets we’ve done,” and “Can’t fault you guys – really great experience.” The Music Week Awards was elevated once again, reinforcing its status as a standout industry event.
